John Barks, the owner and Managing Director of Masters Garage. John has owned the company for some 25 years. Originally based in Hotwells Road, the business outgrew the site there necessitating a move to our current location a little over 11 years ago. Despite the workshop fire some 14 months ago, John has moved the business forward and has successfully enabled the Garage to become an R.A.C Approved service and repair centre.
Masters General Manager, Lorraine Peterson has been with us almost three years. Coming form an Automotive background, Lorraine has brought with her 10 years experience of motor trade aspects, including warranty claims and body work damage estimating. Referred to irreverently as " 'er indoors " by various members of the workshop team, Lorraine is usually the first point of contact for all of our customers. Her previous experience with car body work is a great asset when dealing with the body shops that we use.
Zack Brown, our apprentice, on course to complete his apprenticeship at the end of November. Zack has also attended college and is studying for his NVQ3. He has encompassed the whole range of different makes and ages of vehicles presented to us.
With the exuberance of youth he throws himself at most things, only shouting for help from the others when he " hits the wall "
(He's also not bad at tea making and the way he uses a broom, well, he will make someone a great " wife " one day).
Joined the Masters family a year ago today! He is our workshop manager & MOT tester.
Joined the Masters family as our new apprentice and is coming on leaps & bounds.
Is the new addition to the Masters family joining in July 2020 taking over the role of AE & the other MOT tester.
